  1. Lightweight and easy to use
    Review by Erik_L

I bought the microrope to use with a hammock my wife bought me a few years ago. I hadn't set it up because I didn't want to damage any trees. The microrope was very easy to use. Wrap it around the tree; slip the metal bar through the factory made loop and hook your hammock to it. Adjusting the length of the rope is like lacing a shoe. It's a bit slow, but it works very well.
I had an "uh-oh" moment when I looked at my hammock. The graphic on the back of the package shows the "Hammock Eye" being made of rope or something. Mine was a metal S-hook. It still worked great. I kept the microrope's metal bar on the top of the S-hook and had no problems.
After taking the hammock down to keep the kids from playing on it, I folded the microrope up and stored it in the same bag as the hammock. Too easy!
The hammock held close to 280 lbs with no problem. (Posted on 3/21/2011)

  2. Simple and Easy!

The ropes are light and easy to pack. They set up and tear down quickly with no complex knots. They give you a little less the 10" of space to adjust the ropes between trees. I each rope is rated to 175lbs. That gives you a total support of 350lbs. (Posted on 3/5/2011)

  3. Works well

You could just use a piece of rope from the hardware for this but the "MicroRope" has some nice features. My favorite, there are no knots that get excessively tight and hard to undo. (Posted on 4/13/2010)
